Makeover Time.... Vintage My Little Pony Sundance

Hello doll/toy lovers!! Today is another makeover post I have about 16 ponies from the lot I bought for $10 last month so there will be a lot of these posts coming. Today's post is about sundance she was manufactured in 1983 and came with a little girl doll named megan (I think in my thrift adventures I have picked up a megan I will look to see it would be nice to reunite them).                                                                    She was in very good condition even though her body was white she had no staining. Her tail on the other hand was very dry and frizzy I ended up having to cut about 1/2 in off of it but there was no saving it. I used dish soap and baking soda to clean her body and hair. I also put conditioner in it and let it set for a long time but it did not help the bottom of her tail, that is the problem most older ponies have cause of brushing when playing. Even with her cut tail she turned out really cute and I actually have another one of her that I got earlier in the summer for $1 whenever I get to her I hope her tail fairs better.

Makeover Time..... Vintage My Little Pony Moonstone

Hello doll/toy lovers!! For the next few posts I will be doing some makeover posts, those are my favorite. I want to try to get as many toys as I can clean during the winter because once spring/summer gets here I will be buying new items. In this post I will be cleaning up a vintage my little pony from the $10 lot I bought last month.                                                                                                                                                     This post is about moonstone she is a rainbow pony and was manufactured in 1983. She was pretty dirty but her hair was really nice except for the very end of her tail. I washed her body and hair with dish soap and baking soda, then used a magic eraser to get a few spots that did not come off with the soap. I then put conditioner on her hair and let her set for around 30 min, combed her hair then put a curler in her tail and wrapped her mane around her neck to get it to lay down correctly. She turned out very pretty I love the color of her eyes.

Collective Haul.. Yard Sale Finds From The Past Few Months..... Rare Mattel Teen Trends Doll Deondra- Monster High-Maxie-Dawn

Hello doll and toy lovers!! This is a collective haul of items picked up from yard sales over the past few months. I believe all of these was bought from the same lady I buy most of my dolls from. Her prices are amazing and I love seeing what she has every week. She has a space at a flea market now but it is about 30 min from me so I can't get to it very much but I am hoping to get there atleast once a month!
In the first pic we have a rare teen trends deondra doll that came out in 2004, she is in her outfit with shoes and was only $1. Then there is a sitting indian doll, a sundance vintage my little pony and a vintage dawn doll from the 70s in her outfit all of these was in separate bags for $1 a piece (worth it). Lastly there is a monster high clawdeen she was in a bag for $2.
In the second pic (which you can't really see too well) is a vintage sweetie pup that was $1 and some clothes and two dolls that was in a bag for $1. The last pic is a maxie doll that was in a bag for $1 and 3 monster high dolls that was $2-$3 per bag (I pay a little more for the monster high dolls cause they are very expensive usually). Frankie and draculara are both in their outfits but clawdeen is not and draculara is not in her original shoes but they are in good shape the frankie is practically brand new.

Vintage My Little Pony Haul!! See What I Got For $10!!

Hello doll and toy lovers!! It has been unseasonably warm in my area recently so some of the yard sale people are still setting up near me. So a couple weeks ago I had to go take a look and I am so glad I did. A man was set up that had this grouping of ponies with a bag of newer fake ponies. I asked him how much he wanted for the ponies, he usually had higher prices on his items but that day he told me I could have them all for $10!
I was super excited even though there was a bag of fakies and a few was missing their tail (also with the missing tail there was a sitting pony which I do not have one of at all so even though it was missing it's tail I was excited for that one and I got home and it must have fallen out of my bag...... I was so sad but what can you do??) The mostly just need some cleaning and their hair tamed, they are in really good conidtion for their age and I got some really cool ones, like the so softs, my first beddy bye eye and my first sea pony baby!!!        He probably knew he wouldn't be able to set up anymore and wanted to get rid of them but I was in the right place at the right time I just wish I would have realized I dropped that one pony but maybe one day I will find another one.

Fall Festival Madness-Another Doll Haul-Donnie and Marie-Barbie-Sindy-$7

Hello doll lovers!! As stated in a previous post I went to a few yard sales that was going on a weekend in october and at one guys table I found these dolls. They have their issues poor donnie is missing an arm but I can hopefully fix them up. He gave me all 6 dolls for $7, had they been in better shape I am sure they would have been more.
In the lot I got donnie and marie osmond (already mentioned donnie is missing an arm but marie is in good shape just needs a clean, she is wearing pretty in pink barbies outfit). Also received beauty secrets barbie and another barbie from the 80s wearing her outfit (beauty secrets has a hair cut and the other barbie has not be identified her head is broken off). There is also kissing barbie in her outfit and a sindy doll (these two are in pretty good condition they just need a little bath). I was happy to find a donnie doll to go with marie hopefully I can find him an arm but he can be displayed without seeing his arm.

Yard Sale Finds.... Fall Festival Madness-La Dee Da Dolls

Hello doll lovers!! It has been a while as usual school (especially virtual) has taken over and of course the holidays came so that is always a crazy time. I am hoping to get back to my doll hunting (even though the winter is the worst time for me to hunt cause my thrift stores do not have dolls very often) and makeovers soon. I do have a few posts that are from earlier in the fall like this one that I will be posting.
My doll lady was set up for what would have been the fall festival but that had to be canceled but a few people still came and set up for the sales. As usual she had some amazing dolls with her. I got three bags of la dee da dolls for $3 per bag. I ended up with 7 la dee das and a few dolls that was donated and 5 of the dolls had their original clothes and 4 of them had their shoes. It ended up being a very good deal and hopefully I can find the outfits to the other 2. I already have 2 of these dolls that have their clothes and shoes I think they have really pretty faces and unique outfits.

What's In The Case??? $2 Yard Sale Find.. Barbie Case-Let's See What We Find Inside..

Hello doll lovers!! You guessed it, I made a trip to see my doll lady today and she had this beaut for only $2. I took a peek inside to see if it was just a case but seen there were items in it so of course I brought it home with me. Let's take a look at what we got in our $2 mystery 80s barbie case.
To start off we got all kinds of clothing which I love to find there were some pieces that was very worn but the majority was in good condition. Then came the dolls there ended up being 4 dolls in the case and of course they need work but for $2 how can you complain. First there is pretty in pink barbie (in yellow jump suit) and western barbie (her poor eye lids did not make it but she does have her outfit). Then there was a doll parton doll (her hair is very frizzy I am hoping she can be saved cause I love dolly!!) and my absolute favorite find...... Crystal Barbie!!! I have been looking for her since I found her dress on jem in the spring time. Her boa was also in the case so she is complete except for her shoes and necklace.
I would say that's not too bad for $2, glad I got to it before the reseller did, this find made my whole month. Yard sales are going to stop before long then it will just be goodwill and salvation army which I never have a lot of luck with find doll stuff but hopefully I can keep myself busy making over dolls and organizing my items for the start of yard sale season next year. Hope you enjoyed my what's in the case and be looking for the makeover posts that will be coming!

Makeover Time... Bratz Sasha and Chic Mystique Meygan

Hello doll lovers!! This is an older post I haven't gotten to clean up any dolls recently but did get these girls made over about a month ago. I got these ladies at a yard sale for .50 and wanted to clean them up I do not have their original outfits but I made due with what I had and was happy with the results. They turned out really nice.
As I always do they were washed with dish soap and baking soda, hair washed with dish soap then I put conditioner on them and let them set for about 20 min. I wanted to keep meygan's hair curly but did flat iron Sashas. I found outfits in my clothing bin that matched them and shoes that looked good with them too. They cleaned up really nice and will hopefully be loved by someone again!

$6 Yard Sale Doll Haul.... Barbie Basic-Fashionista-Twilight Bella-Princess Diana-Liv-Moxie Girl Teen-Barbie

Hello doll lovers!! My doll lady did not disappoint this weekend! She got a lot of dolls in and there was some good ones in the bin. She sold them 3 for $2 so I got all 9 of these dolls for $6! Once you see the awesome dolls I got you will agree. First off I finally got the blonde/pink shaved head fashionista, I have been looking for her forever. Also picked up a red haired barbie basic and a twilight bella almost complete (too bad edward wasn't there).
Then I found a princess diana wedding doll, a liv doll with her wig and a moxie teen doll (I believe she is melrose???) without her wig, hat or jacket but had everything else. I could not believe how big the moxie teen doll was I had never seen one in person, they are very pretty, so of course I want more.
Lastly I found some 80s barbies, there is sun loving barbie (in a marie osmond outfit I think is the deepest purple fashion), a my first barbie (1980 version with the different eyes in a peaches and cream barbie dress) and a momma heart doll (in magic moves barbies body suit). As you can see I got some real gems, I do love this lady's selection but I did find out that she does sell to a seller in bulk so that makes me sad I don't want to think about all the awesome things I am missing out on.

Vintage Doll Finds at A Yard Sale for A Dollar-Skipper-Pepper-My Little Pony

Hello doll lovers!! Went to a yard sale this past weekend that had a box of toys that I had to look through. The first item I found was the my little pony, next I found the vintage titan hair skipper and last was the ideal pepper doll (tammy's sister). I asked how much I owed him and he told me to take them but I felt bad just taking them so he charged me $1. I was so excited!! Wish there would have been more in there!
