Makeover Time-1950's Ideal Little Miss Revlon

Hello doll lovers!! I am sharing the little miss revlon doll I found at salvation army for 7.99. She was a little more dirty than the other girls so she needed to be cleaned up. She also didn't come with any shoes so I had to get her some from etsy. All the other dolls that was at the store had clothes and shoes not sure what happened with her but we took care of it. I will say this is not her original outfit but she looks cute in it. Her stringing is loose but she can stand with a doll stand. I think she is very pretty and was very happy to add a miss revlon to my collection I have wanted one for a long time.

Out of the Box-1997 Reproduction 1961 Wedding Day Barbie

Hello doll lovers!! Today I took this girl out of her nasty prison of a box. I got this girl from a resale shop for $10, this is the 1997 reproduction 1961 wedding day barbie doll. I have this doll with the red hair already but I do not have a blonde reproduction doll so I had to get her. She is a beautiful doll and as I figured her rubber bands had dry rotted so I had to change them but other than that she is perfect. I really love the reproduction dolls and hope to find more to add to my collection.

Makeover Time-1996 Sparkle Beach Baribe

Hello doll lovers!! Today's makeover post is about the 1996 sparkle beach barbie I got at the resale shop for $2. As you can see the reason I bought her was because she had on the happy birthday barbie dress. She still needed a makeover and looks really cute in the outfit that birthday barbie was wearing (I didn't have her original swim suit). She has her original earrings and necklace but no outfit, you know she is a beach barbie because of her straight arms pretty much all beach barbies have the straight arms. Her hair did turn out nice and you gotta love the 90s bangs.

1959 Madame Alexander Disney Sleeping Beauty Doll

Hello doll lovers!! Today we are looking at one of my favorites finds from the salvation army doll haul. The 1959 madame alexander disney sleeping beauty doll (she is a cissette doll which I have always wanted) I paid 6.99 for her and was so happy to find her at that price. She is almost complete all she is missing is her star crown and her shoes are not the original ones but you can't see them under her dress, her outfit is just gorgeous (of course right now it is wrinkled from storage). I got very luck finding all these amazing dolls and I do wish I would have gotten a few more but at least I got the beauties that I did get.

Makeover Time-1996 Splash and Color Barbie

Hello doll lovers!! Here is another $2 resale store barbie find all cleaned up. She is the 1996 splash and color beach barbie. As you can see she had her outfit and earrings when I found her she just needed a little wash and her hair conditioned and brushed. I tried to put her original style back in and she turned out really cute. I am not the biggest fan of beach barbies but when the are complete like she was I have to get them.

1950s Vogue Jill Doll in Record Shop Fashion

Hello doll lovers!! Today is the vogue Jill doll's turn to be in the spotlight, she is from the vogue doll company and I believe from 1957. She is another doll I got a few weeks ago at the salvation army for 9.99. She is in her original body suit and has the Jill's record shop skirt fashion pack on. I believe this came with an underskirt (to make it fluff out) and a red shirt. Not sure if her shoes are original but they match with her outfit. I was excited to find her in the pile of dolls since she is a harder to find doll.

Makeover Time-1995 Happy Birthday Barbie

Hello doll lovers!! I did makeovers on a few dolls I bought recently from a resale shop for $2 a piece. This the 1995 Happy Birthday barbie, as you can see she was in another outfit but one of the other dolls was wearing her outfit so I had to reunite them. She has her original earrings and ring so she is almost complete just missing shoes but I am sure I can find a pair around her somewhere. I really loved the birthday barbies when I was little I just loved all the big dress barbies.

1950s Madame Alexander Lissy Doll

Hello doll lovers!! Today I am spotlighting my 1950s madame alexander lissy doll. I got her recently from my local salvation army for 9.99 and that was a deal. She still has her braids but is missing one of her ribbons. She has her original tagged outfit and her original coat. She is missing her socks and the shoes she has on are not original to her but do match her dress stitching. Her limbs are a bit loose but that happens over time but other than that she is in very good condition for a doll her age. I just love her face and think she is so cute!

A Closer Look at the Lovely Patsy Doll Fashion Packs

Hello doll lovers!! Thought I would give you a closer look at the lovely patsy doll fashion packs that I got at the salvation army for .99 a piece. I found out these came from dollar tree in the mid 00s. It's funny to me because it seems the person who bought them just wanted the plastic hangers that was with the outfits. Those are the only things missing out of the packs and I will say that there was a lot of stuff in these packs for $1. Of course the quality isn't the greatest but what clone doll clothes are?? The best on has to be the one with the bikini with the dress with a leopard stole and purse LOL the most fashionable I guess.

Makeover Time-1994 Barbie Cut N' Style

Hello doll lovers!! Did a few makeovers this past week and was so happy to get this lady beautiful again. She is the 1994 cut n' style barbie, you could cut her hair then velcro some back on. What a great way to let kids know they can cut their dolls hair (most do it anyway). I did not realize she has such long hair till I found this girl at a resale shop for $2. She still has her necklace and earrings but was missing her clothes so I gave her a cute outfit to match her jewelry. She turned out so great, her hair was a mess when I found her.

1953 Ideal P-90 Toni Doll-Miss Curity (?)

Hello doll lovers!! This is the doll I was most excited about that I found at the salvation army a few weeks ago. This is a p-90 ideal Toni doll. I do believe that she is the miss curity doll from 1953 in a mommy made outfit (but it is so nicely made). In my research I have learned that the Toni doll was produced between 1949-1956 and she is the advertisment doll for the Toni home perm. You could perm her hair at home (how safe) over and over again! I have seen a lot of patterns for this outfit for the Toni doll so I do believe it is homemade. I have no idea if she is the miss curity doll cause she does not have her original outfit, she does have the darker eye makeup that miss curity had. I am happy that I finally have a Toni doll in my collection I have wanted one for about 15 years and she was only 9.99!!!
