Vintage 80s Tinderbell Kids Makeup Set-New In Box

     Hello doll lovers!! As you can see this is not a doll post but I had to share this find from a couple weeks ago. I was in Salvation army when this little pink box peaked my attention, of course I was excited to see what it was. It still has the orange toys r us price sticker which brings back so many childhood memories, the price is torn off (must have been a gift 30 years ago). I had to have this for no other reason then I can almost smell the memories and for only .99 how could I go wrong? The set included a perfume, compact and lipstick, I just love the look of the sweet fairly on the box. I had no idea this brand had been around since the 50s!! The packaging back then was just as cute as this is! I wanted to open this up to relive my pre teen life but it is still sealed and if I do decide to sell it, it is worth more sealed. A bit disappointed but hey if I decide to open it later that is fine, it's not going anywhere anytime soon. 

$5 Goodwill Find-Barbie Disney's Animal Kingdom Doll

     Hello doll lovers!! Went to goodwill last week for a browse and found this lady new in box. She was $5 and I almost didn't grab her ($5 is a little too much for me even new in box but she has such a pretty face I gave in). Her box was in bad condition, smashed and torn so I decided to unbox her for the blog. 

     First off her outfit is awesome I love the safari outfit (is this what the employees wear at disney? sorry but I have never been so I do not know) it is so cute with the animal print. She has matching boots, a canteen, binoculars, a scarf and hat. Her hat is not attached to her head so once it comes out of the box it falls off (I don't like that cause if you display her it doesn't want to stay on). She also comes with a gold belt, her face is very pretty with her brown eyes. 

     Her packaging is very pretty too, I love the animal theme (I mean it is animal kingdom) I am assuming this is a drawing of a place in the animal kingdom disney park exhibit. Again I have not been to disney so I do not know for sure. I included a pic of the interior sleeve because the illustration is so nicely done. This is an example of how much quality used to go into barbie and her packaging it is sad how much they have let the quality go. She is a very pretty doll and I am glad that I found her. 

#Snapstar Doll Accessories-Wigs-Outfits-Walmart Clearance

     Hello doll lovers!! Today I have some more walmart clearance finds for you. I am continuing with the #Snapstar doll line. When I found the dolls I also found the accessories to go with them and at the $1 per item price I got one of everything they had. I also did not realize until these were on sale that these dolls have wigs that you can change, which like I said in the last post reminds me of the Liv dolls. I got a couple extra wigs to see if they fit the Live girls because I have a couple that needs them. The clothes are really cute and the outfits come with shoes and purses or sunglasses. Both the outfits and the wigs retailed for 4.88 a piece. Not sure if I will ever change the dolls out of there outfits but it is nice to have extras and also if I want to resale them in the future the accessories help a lot. I went back 2 days later to see what was left and everything was gone the clothes, wigs and dolls. So if you see something you want you better get it then if you can. 

#Snapstar Doll Walmart Clearance-Yuki-Aspen-Echo-Vita's Chic Clothing Rack Fabulous Fashions Set

     Hello doll lovers!! Most of you know by now I am sure, that walmart does a big clearance toy haul mid January. I have already posted some barbie finds and a few blind box toys that I found. I also found these girls at different times, so it goes to show that you should always keep checking back. 

     These girls are the #Snapstar dolls I think they are very pretty dolls. I picked up the Dawn to this set last fall, she was $4 like the other girls at the time. I picked her up cause I loved her inset eyes, these dolls remind me a lot of the Liv dolls from the mid 2000s. Of course I am going to hold onto them for now cause I do like them so much. I got Yuke, Aspen, Echo and the Vita's closet set (this was $5 but does come with an extra outfit. 

     There are 2 more dolls that complete this set and I want to find them so badly but my store did not have them. I found one on walmart's website but she is more than I want to pay. I don't want to pay over $4 for them so I guess I'll have to hope I find them thrifting. I think my fav out of them is the Aspen, I love her look and outfit. Let me know what you think of these girls, do you like them? Do you think they look like Liv dolls?? 

1.50 Walmart Clearance Surprise Doll-Boxy Girls-Trinity

     Hello doll lovers!! Found this cute little girl at walmart in the clearance aisle for 1.50. I was curious and for that price I decided to try it out. These only retail for 5.47 full price and I do not think that is bad for what you get. You get your little doll (this girl has pink hair and her name is trinity) then you get 3 surprise boxes. In my surprise boxes I got 2 purses and a pair of shoes, she comes with an outfit and a pair of shoes too. All in all opening this surprise toy was fun and the little surprises was cute, I just wish they would not have had 2 purses I am sure another accessory could have been put in instead. These remind my of the early 2000's polly pockets with their size and rubber clothes/accessories. If I was 10 years old again I would love these (always liked easy on off clothes with dolls). I would recommend these even if you can't get them on sale the price point is pretty good for what you get. 

1999 Pretty Pretty Princess Game-Goodwill Find 1.99

     Hello doll lovers!! Well looky here another post that is not doll related.... Maybe I should change my blog to toy hunter?? I love finding older toys at thrift shops and yard sales, of course I like to find them for resale. I do not have the room to keep all my finds but the dolls are growing on me 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ This is the 1999 version of the pretty pretty princess game, this is desirable for a lot of people etsy and ebay have a lot of sold listings. I only paid 1.99 for my game and it is in amazing condition. All the pieces are there including the black ring and some extra gem stickers. The plastic bags that everything came in was still in the box!! Of course I threw those away but it was still cool to find them I guess the game wasn't played that much. I am hoping to get at least $30 for this on ebay but you never know. Always check the game section you never know what gem could be hiding there.

$2 Maleficent Doll Goodwill Find-In Aurora Dress

     Hello doll lovers!! Went to the goodwill over the weekend and found this lady who I believe is maleficent from sleeping beauty (the movie version, her face looks similar to Angelina Jolie, I believe these are from the newer movie that came out last year??). Of course she is in the wrong dress she is in aurora's dress, they came in a 2 pack, that I believe was sold in stores like walmart and target. Sadly Aurora was not there that day or the couple days after, someone either already bought her or the person did not donate her and Mal's dress. Oh well she was only $2 I am sure if i'm patient enough I will find something for her to wear and that dress of Aurora's is very pretty! Maybe I will find the doll to match that dress one day too. 

     Pickings have been slim on the doll front lately (not like I need anymore, my back log of dolls is filling up 3 18 gallon totes, is that bad??) but there have been a few here and there. Of course yard sale season is around the corner but I really do need to be way more selective of the items I buy this year. It's funny that I am complaining about the slim pickings when I have so many dolls waiting to be restored and I am not making an effort at all. Hopefully soon I can get back into some restorations. I still have a couple of the vintage dolls I need to finish, I should probably start there, don't you think? 

Surprise Toy Opening-Poopsie Sparkly Critters-It got the Ultra Rare Ocho!!

     Hello doll lovers!! This isn't a doll but it is close enough. I have been going to walmart the past couple of weeks and finding awesome toy deals that I can not pass up. This past week I found these little surprise toys on clearance for 2.50, regular price 14.98 (Ummmmm.... what???). I decided to buy a couple to open and post on this blog, I mean why not they are super cute and I can get my money back on them easily. I will say it was fun to open them up but do I think it is worth the 15.00 price tag??? Not really, they are cute but one use and they are done. If you can find them for the clearance price I highly recommend them. I got the ultra rare Ocho octopus, she is adorable, I love her long eyelashes. I did not make her slime since I plan on reselling her but I have heard the experience is not that great. She is scented and comes with extra glitters for her slime, her bag to keep the slime, a spoon to put slime in bag (I personally think that this is unnecessary but someone may use it??) also comes with instructions and the list of critters you can get. She comes with a pacifier in her mouth (to keep the powder in her mouth) makes her even cuter! I was super excited that in my first can I got an ultra rare! I have one more of these to open, wish me luck that it is rare too!! 

Walmart Barbie Clearance Haul-Fashionista Men-Fashionista Green Mohawk-Bee Keeper

     Hello doll lovers!! Today I have a walmart clearance haul of barbies!! Over the past couple weeks I have found a few dolls on super clearance and of course I have picked them up for what reason I do not know but I will say that maybe I am leaning towards keeping them. I know, I know but you said you weren't a collector.... I plead the fifth... Anyways let's get to the dolls. 

     We have the I can be bee keeper barbie she was only 4.00 regular 19.88 (she is a birthday gift so no fear in keeping her lol). Then I have two fashionista boy dolls they were only 2.00 a piece regular 7.46, my reasoning for the purchases was "well I pay $2 for a used doll, why not get a new doll for that price", there ya go a little insight into my mind. Lastly is my favorite, she is a petite doll with a green mohawk, she was also 2.00 regular price 7.46 so of course I was gonna get her. I am going to keep checking back to see if any other dolls go on sale the next few weeks. 

     I have quite a few posts that need to be written and posted, I am hoping to get them up soon as possible. I am trying to do better posting but also it depends on if I can find items or if I get to do any restorations.
