Makeover Time-Barbie Fashionista-#75 Lips are Poppin

     Hello doll lovers!! Today is another makeover post, I got this girl at a yard sale earlier this spring and she was $1. She does have a few issues like her hair was cut but I fixed her up for display and love her. She is in her original outfit with earrings, I did have to put new shoes on her. 

     As always I washed her with dish soap, baking soda and a toothbrush. Then I washed her hair and used conditioner and combed through it. Her hair is short so it wasn't tangled and cleaned up nicely. Then she air dried and I dressed her and pulled her hair back up in her updo hair style. I like the messy bun look and maybe I can find this girl later down the line without cut hair atleast I will have her outfit already. 

 

Completing A Collection-#Snapstar Dolls

     Hello doll lovers!! Wanted to share my completed collection of #snapstar dolls with you today. I love these dolls so much, they are so pretty and their clothe are really nice quality, the inset eyes are a big love of mine too, I think dolls with those eyes are so pretty!  I had gotten all of them but izzy and lola from walmart on clearance for $4 a piece. I looked for a year or more for complete used izzy and lola dolls but could not find them. So for my birthday I decided to get them off off line and now my set is complete. 

     There are two more dolls that #snapstar put out but they are redressed apsen and echo in play sets. I don't have to have every doll in a line but I like to have one of each character if I can. I will say that the echo doll is very pretty and I love her dress I am really thinking about getting her if I can find her cheap enough. Like I always say, your collection can change at any time and you can do what ever you want it is your collection. These dolls are discontinued so I know this line is complete and it is sad cause these dolls are so pretty but with all doll lines it usually comes to an end at some point. Plus it is easy on my wallet that they are no longer made haha! 

 

Doll Finds For The Week-Barbie-Lol Omg-#Snapstars

     Hello doll lovers!! Found a few more dolly items this week at salvation army and amazon. At salvation army I found the two barbies and the lol omg for .99 (the dresses are worth that and she is my first lol omg) and the lol dolls with the two outfits for .99 for all. Then I got the #snapstar izzy off of amazon for 14.47 (now my collection is complete). Hope to find some stuff at yard sales this weekend but we shall see. 

 

Makeover Time-Monster High-Music Festival Clawdeen

     Hello doll lovers!! Did a few makeovers recently and this one was on a monster high clawdeen music festival doll. I got her at the salvation army for .59 and as you can see I cleaned her soon as possible. She has what looks like mold on her face. 

     I started off by removing what ever that was on her face with nail polish remover. I then cleaned her body with dish soap, baking soda and a toothbrush. I then washed her hair with dish soap and conditioned it, I did not boil wash it cause I wanted to keep the curl. Sadly I do not have her outfit or shoes so I used a lagoona jump suit and ghouls getaway persephone's shoes. 

 

Sometimes A Little Change Is A Good Thing.....

     Hello doll lovers!! I did a makeover on these two girls a few weeks ago and decided I wasn't happy with the end result so I went back and redid what I didn't like. The barbie myscene doll's hair was very wavy and fluffy at first I really liked it but then I decided to boil wash it and it looks so much better now. 

     I had put the curvy girl in a red polka dot dress but it just did not suit her so I put her in this two piece sparkle girl outfit with some white flats and a chain necklace, I think she looks nicer now, I really like her outfit. Sometimes change is a good thing and makes things even better. I will be going through my collection again and making some changes to a few dolls of course I will be posting those too. 

 

Displaying My Vintage 60s Barbies and Skippers!!!

     Hello doll lovers!! Today I wanted to share my vintage dolls that I decided to display. Since I displayed my monster high dolls I thought why not put my super vintage ladies out too. There is a magic hair, brunette bubble cut, julia (in nurse outfit), skooter and two skippers one bent knee and the other straight leg. I don't have a lot of vintage dolls or clothes but I am glad to have what I do and glad to have them out of the tote. 

 

Makeover Time-My Scene-Barbie/Kennedy?

     Hello doll lovers!! Did a few makeovers recently and this is for a barbie my scene doll, I am not sure if she is barbie or kennedy is there a way to tell? I could not find exactly what doll she was but I do not have her in my collection so that is good. 

     To start off I used nail polish remover to get the dark mark off of her head. I then washed her body with dish soap, baking soda and a toothbrush. I washed her hair with dish soap and conditioned it, I then boil washed since it was a bit frizzy. I found her an outfit in my stash and put these my scene boots on her. 

 

Doll Finds for the Week-My Scene-Bratz-#snapstar-Fashion Star Fillies

     Hello doll lovers!! Welcome to my weekly (so good to be doing these every friday now) doll finds! I went to an indoor flea market this past weekend with my mom and it did not disappoint. I found the my scene rebel style barbie with her dress and the fashion star filly horse for $1 a piece. Then I found a box of bratz dolls and accessories (most dolls had original clothes and shoes) for $25. Then I finally completed my #snapstar doll collection with lola, I got her off of ebay for $16 (not the best deal but hey the collection is complete, well almost I also ordered izzy she will be here soon). Also completed my wild hearts crew doll collection too, I got all 4 of these girls new in box on ebay for $50 (again not the cheapest price but not bad for 4 brand new not sold in store dolls and that included shipping). 

 

Makeover Time-Bratz-Style It Sasha

     Hello doll lovers!! Today is a sorta makeover on a style it sasha bratz doll. I call it a sorta makeover because she did get cleaned and a new outfit but her hair did not get much of a makeover. She has super curly hair and it had been brushed so I tried to tame it a bit but it is still pretty voluminous I think she looks good but I did have to tie it back to tame it a little. She is a very pretty doll and I wish there was a way to bring her hair back to original style but I can not do it. Atleast its not one big knot now, that's a positive. 

 

My Collection of Monster High Create A Monster Sets

     Hello doll lovers!! This post is going to be about my collection of monster high create a monsters, I would love to have all of these ghouls but there are a couple of sets that are super hard to get for a reasonable price. I got all three of these sets for around $20 per set give or take a few dollars. That is a good deal cause some people want $40 or more for a set. A few came with original clothing/wigs but I had to find them for a couple of the sets. I love these dolls so much and am so happy with how they turned out once they was cleaned and put in their outfits with the wigs. They are so pretty. 

 

Makeover Time-Ever After High-Meeshell Mermaid

     Hello doll lovers!! Did a makeover on this ever after high meeshell mermaid doll that I got in a lot off of mercari for $8 per doll. She is almost complete just missing an arm cuff. I love this doll she is so pretty and really did not need much to clean her up. Just washed her body and tamed her hair. 

 

Completing A Collection-Monster High-Scary Tales-Draculaura-Frankie-Clawdeen

     Hello doll lovers!! I finally got to complete my collection of scary tales monster high dolls. I am so excited this is the only collection I cared about having all the dolls that was in it. I got lucky to find frankie in a lot with other dolls that came out to $8 a doll. Then I pieced draculaura together for $4 and I finally got clawdeen for $17 without her cape (because with that cape she is almost $30 and your girl could not do that). 

     So I got the whole set for right at $40 and am so happy with that. They don't have all their accessories but they have the most important ones the outfit and shoes (the shoes are amazingly detailed). I love this set so much I put it on display and you know right now I have all my dolls stored so that is saying something on how I feel about these dolls. I put a few of my vintage girl ceramic pieces with them on display and I love it!! 

 

Doll Finds for the Week-Cave Club-Monster High

     Hello doll lovers!! This is my doll finds for this past week, as you can see there are not thrift finds but I still got some good deals. I finally finished my cave club collection, by that I mean I have one of ever charecter so far. I got lumina and ruly off of amazon with a gift card so I only paid $13 for both out of pocket. I got bashley off of amazon too but she ended up costing me $16 (not a deal but she is hard to find and ebay prices are way higher than that). Lastly is a monster high gloom and bloom jane bolittle in complete outfit and shoes, I got her off of mercari in a lot of dolls so I paid around $8 for her. Not a lot of finds but I am glad to complete that set. 

 

Makeover Time-Barbie-Vintage Bend Knee Skipper

     Hello doll lovers!! Did a few makeovers a week or so ago and this girl was one of the chosen. She is the 1963 (?) bend knee skipper doll, I got her at a yard sale for .50. She was in a box of random toys and they guy said I could have her but I told him I wanted to pay him something. She has her original outfit but it is in rough shape. I did hand wash the outfit and got her cleaned up too, I have a skipper already but she is the straight leg so I am going to keep this girl in my collection too. 

     Like I always do I started off by washing her body with dish soap, baking soda and a toothbrush. I also used a magic eraser on her legs (they had black spots on them). I then washed her hair and conditioned it and let is set a bit. Then I combed through it rinsed it and let her set over night to dry. I also hand washed her outfit and let it dry over night as well. Her hair still has some places that want to stand up but she still turned out really good especially for her age.
