Doll Finds for the Week-Monster High-Ever After High-Barbie

     Hello doll lovers!! It has been a while since I posted I was doing really well with uploads but my kids went back to school then we got covid and was down for a month recovering from that. So I haven't gotten much done with my dolls and probably won't for a while, even though my kids are back in school it is the holidays and there is so much to get done for that. I didn't get to go to many yard sales since I was sick then too weak to want to walk a lot but I have been a bit better lately. 

      So I made a trip to salvation army last week and look what I found some great dolls!! They are all monster high or ever after high except for one and they was only .49 a piece! I got a freaky fusion frankie with out her shoes but other than that complete. A ghouls night out frankie complete but missing under dress. A dot dead gorgeous operetta complete, a freaky fusion operetta complete but missing her headband. A catty noir almost complete missing her shoes and another ghouliopi but she is nude missing everything but I couldn't leave her there. 

     Then I got an apple white and raven queen from ever after high both complete. The last doll I found was a 2008 fashion fever rock star nikki doll almost complete (she was wearing the wrong boots) but I had her boots so she is now complete! I got really lucky and hope to find more deals on dolls this winter since where I live gets colder we can't do yard sales so I will have to wait till april or may. Hopefully the salvation army will keep getting great dolls in every so often believe me I will keep you posted. 

 

$25 Bratz Flea Market Find-Funk N Glow-Strut It-Winter Wonderland-Slumber Party-Collector Doll

     Hello doll lovers!! This is a post to show you finally what was in the $25 flea market bratz doll find I had at the beginning of the summer. These girls got pushed to the back of my storage room and I forgot to do a more indepth post. I got them out today to label them and get them ready to be cleaned up, I am excited to work on them. These are the first older bratz dolls I have done makeovers on in a long time. 

     I guess now I should get into who these girls are. We have a winter wonderland cloe that has both of her outfits and shoes but she is missing some tights. There is a funk and glow meygan that has both of her outfits but is missing one of her shoes and all her accessories. Also there is a strut it sasha that has peices of both outfits and both pairs of shoes but no accessories. Then there is original girl cloe who has her skirt and both pairs of shoes but no accessories. My third genie magic meygan is in here too with pieces to both outfits one sandal shoe and her pair of second outfit boots. 

     I also have a slumber party meygan with her pjs, robe and slippers but no accessories or other outfit (that is basically a tank top and underwear). A play sports vinessa with her outfit, shoes, hat and earrings. The last girl is the bratz world collectors series tokyo tianna, she has her outfit, shoes and hair accessories. There was also pieces to a few outfits and some random shoes. There was also some bratz kidz and babyz but i put them away. All in all not bad for $25 most have enough pieces for an outfit to display them. 

 

Makeover Time-1985 Jem/Jerrica Doll

     Hello doll lovers!! This is the second jem/jerrica doll I have done a makeover on and this one also does not have working earrings, that is a bummer but she is still a pretty doll. She cleaned up nicely and her hair looks great, I found her a barbie outfit to wear (you can see it is a little short) and I do have some jem shoes in my collection already. Her makeup is so vibrant still, her hair is so soft I can't believe she is 30 years old.

     I got this girl at the salvation army for .99 I could not believe it! I did try her earrings with new batteries and they did not work, it may be a simple fix I will have to keep trying. I think she turned out great and will be selling this one since I already have one. I really love finding and making over dolls I had when I was younger it gives me so much nostalgia. 

 

Box Openings-Barbie Stardoll-Fallen Angel-Bonjour Bizou

     Hello doll lovers!! Today I decided to open my two new in box barbie stardolls that I got for $5 at a yard sale recently. I was super excited to find these girls in box for such a good price. They have unique face molds and the clothes are very nice quality. These dolls came out in 2011 they are the avatars to a very popular game at the time by the same name stardoll. You could pick an avatar and make them over something I would have totally loved as a kid. 

     I got the fallen angel which I think is my fav with her dark hair and red lips. I love her outfit especially her rope scarf. I also got the bonjour bizou red hair doll she has a very pretty face I am not the biggest fan of her outfit but the face and hair are great. I included a pic of the avatars on the side of the boxes because they look nothing like those they are way prettier HaHa! I really do like these dolls a lot and will be on the look out for the rest, wish me luck. 

 

Makeover Time-1993 Reproduction Enchanted Evening Barbie

     Hello doll lovers!! I did a bit of a makeover on this reproduction enchanted evening barbie doll. She has her original outfit but I found one new in box for $8 so I decided to put this girl in a vintage dress and leave her hair half way down to give her a different look. I got her at the salvation army for .59, what a deal! I really love her face and love how well her outfit matches her makeup and jewelry (which is original to her). 

 

Out of the Box-Rainbow High-Karma Nichols and Skylar Bradshaw

     Hello doll lovers!! Today I took Karma and Skylar out of their boxes and thought I would share the beauty with you. I got both of these girl off of walmart website for store pick up for $11 a piece. The only problem I had was Karma's hair was in a big gluey lump on both sides of her face when I got her out. It was awful, I had to wet her hair and brush it out. Of course they are both beautiful and I love these like the other, so glad I decided to collect these! 

 

Makeover Time-Vintage Barbie-Golden Dreams 1981

     Hello doll lovers!! I found another gem in my tote of dolls that need to be cleaned up. This is golden dream barbie from 1981. She was a really dirty girl as you can see by the first pic, she is wearing beauty secrets barbies outfit and came with her original ring! 

     I happen to have her whole outfit that I pieced together over time (just like pretty & pink barbie, by the way I do have her arm cuffs I just forgot to put them on, head smack-PS. I added a pic with them on, high five!!). I put on a pair of white wedges similar to what she would have come with. She turned out really pretty the only thing about these older dolls is their hair is very thin, I'm not sure if it is from age or kids playing with it but her hair in the front is really thin. It did turn out shiny though and these are the dolls I played with as a kid so I love them. 

 

Doll Finds for the Week-GOOD WEEK!!!-Vintage barbie-New in box Stardoll-Bratz-Monster High

     Hello doll lovers!! It is that time of the week again where we see what doll finds I had for the week! This was a very exciting week, I found all kinds of cool dolls. You are not going to believe the deal I got on the last pic of dolls it is crazy. First I found 2 barbie fashionistas and a taller bratz cloe doll for .59 a piece at salvation army. Then I found two mattel stardolls in the box for $5 a piece at a yard sale. 

     The best find came at the end of the week at salvation army again (I swear there haven't been dolls there in months) I got some awesome dolls as you can see. I got a monster high ghooliopi jellington (she is complete by the way) and a create a monster chamber doll (poor girl looks awful but I am going to try to remove the tattoos) also got a beast friend doll accessory pack. Then I got some vintage barbies, dreamtime barbie, barbie and the rockers curly hair, cheerleader jazzie and dance club barbie (with her accessories). Wish the barbies would have had their outfits but since I only paid .25 a piece for them I can't complain!!! 

 

Makeover Time-Barbie Fashionista-Teresa

     Hello doll lovers!! Got this girl at a yard sale a few weeks ago for $3, she is an articulated barbie fashionista Teresa but I can not find which one she is. Her articulation is a bit different so she may be one of the first ones that came out. I did not see that one of her legs had repair done to it so it does not move anymore but her arms and other leg still do. I love her outfit and shoes I found for her in my stash and she cleaned up really nicely. Her hair is a little bit dry so I may do another boil wash later I haven't decided yet. 

 

Spotlight on my Collection-Barbie My Scene Dolls

     Hello doll lovers!! Today I am doing a spotlight on my collection of barbie my scene dolls. I do not have a very large collection of these dolls but I am so happy to have what I do. My whole my scene collection cost me under $20 and if you know my scene than you know that is cheap. These ladies have quite the following now and they are very hard to find at an affordable price. 

     All of my dolls came from yard sales or thrift stores except for one that was bought in a lot off of mercari. Of course she is my most expensive doll in this collection at $8. Only a couple of ladies have their original clothes but they still look cute in what I picked for them. Almost all of these dolls have a post about them in my makeover section so check them out for more info!

 

Remakeover Time-Vintage Barbie-Sunsation Kira and Monster High Scarah Screams

     Hello doll lovers!! This is a remakeover post, I made over kira last year sometime and did not boil wash her hair cause I liked the wild look. Well, it got a little too wild and puffy so I decided to remake her over. All I did was boil wash her hair and change her outfit cause she doesn't have her original swim suit. Love her in her new outfit with her sleek hair. 

     Then I made over the monster high scarah screams but forgot to take a before pic so I decided to add her on to this post cause she is so pretty it would be a shame not to share her. I got her nude with her bracelets at a yard sale years ago then I got her outfit with some other dolls year so I reunited them. This is the I love fashion scarah screams doll I have almost the whole set I am just missing a skirt and pair of boots. She really did turn out pretty I like her a lot that coat is gorgeous. 

 

Makeover Time-Barbie Fashionista-Artsy Swapping Heads

     Hello doll lovers!! This is a makeover post for this older articulated fashionista Artsy with the swapping head. I got her at a yard sale a few weeks ago for $3 which is a really good deal. She got a good clean up with hair conditioning and then I picked her out this outfit that matched her eye makeup and the shoes match the accents in her outfit. She is a really pretty doll and had her original earrings when I got her. I really like these old fashionista dolls I don't think there is anymore in my tote but will have to check and see. 

 

Out of the Box-Rainbow High Doll-River Kendall

     Hello doll lovers!! Today is an out of the box post with rainbow high dolls river kendall. I decided that I wanted to collect all of the signature dolls so I got this guy with a gift card. I just love these dolls faces and their clothes are so nice and fashionable also very good quality. Kendall is one of my favorite colors and the only boy his face is really cute. I was happy to get him as a birthday gift.
