My Last Ebay Doll Purchase-Of Course Monster High Dolls-Threaderella Frankie-Slo Mo-Astranova-Dance Class Howleen

Hello doll lovers!! Today I am going to be sharing my last ebay doll purchase, I decided after I bought these dolls I would not purchase anymore cause it is a snowball. In one month I spent $200 on doll items off of ebay and mercari, I got some good deals but that is way more than I want to spend on my doll hobby. I bet all the dolls I have stored wasn't even that if it was it was right at that price. I will say that it is getting harder to find dolls now I'm not sure what is going on but if I can't find them thrifting anymore than I won't purchase them.
Well guess we will get on into this monster high haul, I got this lot for $26 with shipping, which is not a bad deal at all that is only 6.50 a piece and most of the dolls are in clothes and have shoes but again it is more than I need to pay at this time. There was a pair of tights, 4 brushes and gigi grants shoes with them.
In this lot I received the threaderella frankie doll complete, just missing her purse, and in very good condition very clean and hair in good shape. Ghoul spirit slo mo (I remember when he came out people talking about how hard he was to find) complete with shoes. Then I got the dance class howleen who has her outfit but no shoes or jewelry and an astranova that is missing her left arm, hand, outfit and accessories but does have her shoes. All of the dolls was in good condition and clean, hopefully I can find howleens shoes and an arm and hand for astranova but it won't be online.....

Makeover Time-Winx-Bloom-City Fashions-Charmix

Hello doll lovers!! Can you believe it? I did more makeovers this week, usually if I do makeovers it's another 2 months before I get to anymore. Maybe being more orgainized helps out a little. This week I made over some dolls that I have decided to let go of in my collection. In this post I worked on the winx dolls bloom, city fashions and charmix. For some reason when ever I find a winx doll it is a bloom (the red head), she is pretty but is she really popular??
As usual I started with washing their bodies with dish soap, baking soda and a toothbrush. Then I washed their hair with dish soap, put some conditioner in and let it set for about 10 min. Combed through and then I boil washed the charmix doll cause her hair was very frizzy. That helped a little but she was still a little frizzy so I flat ironed her and it turned out really nice.
The city fashion doll had her outfit so that was good but no shoes, I do not have winx shoes so she has to be shoeless. The charmix doll on the other hand had her shoes but no clothes (I would rather have clothes than shoes) so I put her in a pretty dress from my recent sparkle girl clothes purchase. It matches her shoes and does the job of covering her up. Maybe the new owner will be able to reunite her with her outfit.

Doll Accessory Organization-(here we go again)-Shoes and Purses

Hello doll lovers!! Here we go again with trying to organize these doll accessories. Oh goodness I tell you it is amazing how much little stuff these dolls have. I haven't even scratched the surface I have more items all around my storage room. I do think that with the purses and small little items I will sell those cause I do not need that for my collection I will never display my dolls with them.
First off is the shoes, I ordered these small storage boxes off of amazon, I got 5 for $8. I wanted a system that was easy for me to find the shoes I was looking for when I needed them. I am only keeping these shoes for when I display my dolls cause it looks better when they wear shoes. I don't plan on selling them cause I will use them eventually and I do not sell my dolls with shoes.
Then I worked on the purses and little accessories. I put all of the items that where a like together and then put them in individual baggies so when I go to sell them they will be ready and organized. There was hangers, hair brushes, vanity items, kitchen stuff, visors and  athletic stuff. I know there are more items somewhere but for now this is how I will have them. I will put them in a storage box as well to keep them together and then it will be easier when I find the other items. I do have a lot of hats too but those are already in a bag together so I am leaving them like that. Again this is not perfect and will be taking up a lot more room than I wanted but I do think it will be so much easier than using bags.

Makeover Time-Barbie Fashionista-#23 Petite-Love That Lace

Hello doll lovers!! Did a few makeovers on some fashionistas that I had gotten in a lot recently and had a few in my backlog bin. This girl came from the ebay lot that was 1.50 per doll, I really liked her shorter hair cut, at first I thought someone had cut it but them realized she was made that way.
As usual we got started with a bath of dish soap, baking soda and a tooth brush. Then I washed her hair with dish soap, conditioned it then combed through it and let it air dry. She did come nude so I went out and bought her an outfit from walmart, it is a new roxy fashion pack. She looks cute but the shoes are a little big on her so maybe in the future I'll find her another outfit and shoes.

An Updated Spotlight On My Collection-Barbie Fashionista-Curvy Girls

Hello doll lovers!! I thought it would be fun to do an updated spotlight on my collection post to see what dolls I have added in the almost year. In this post I am going to be showing you my curvy girls. I am not going into detail on them cause most of them have their own posts from makeovers or they was in the first spotlight post. If you want to know names or numbers for them I have posts about most of them already up. I added 4 new curvy dolls over the past year, one is a repeat but she is in a cute fashion pack so I do not mind!  Enjoy!

Makeover Time-Barbie Fashionista-#4 Party Glam

Hello doll lovers!! When this girl came out about 5 years ago, yes, it has been five years since the doll evolved. I really wanted this girl but..... I was not collecting at the time so I just stared at her in the stores and online. So when I came around to collecting this girl was way out of my price range online so I waited. It paid off big time I got this girl at a yard sale for .75!
First off I washed her body with dish soap, baking soda and a tooth brush. Then I washed her hair with dish soap, conditioned it, then combed through it and let her air dry. She did not have her outfit which is a shame but when they are used it is usually what happens but I did find a dress I really liked on her and a pair of cute flat shoes. She turned out really pretty and maybe one day I will find her outfit.

Trying To Get Organized (again)-Clothes-Binder Pouch Method

Hello doll lovers!! Thought I would try another method of doll clothes orgainization so I can let you know if it works or if it is a dud. With this method I am going to try to use binder pouched and a folder with plastic sleeves in it to put the clothes in so you can see the outfits and flip through like a book. I have seen a few people use this method and it looks nice but when you have as much clothes as I do, will it really work?
I got this idea because I found 4 binder pouches for .20 a piece at good will (I have an extra binder at my house) and a folder that has 5 plastic pockets in it already for 1.29. I figured since the items was so cheap I would try it out. As you have seen I got a lot of sparkle girl outfits and dollar tree outfits this past couple of weeks. So I figured might as well start with those.
Instead of starting with the binder pouches I used the already set up folder. I put about 5 outfits in each plastic sleeve and I will say that it was easier to see the outfits and you could turn the pages. But I can see them getting messed up and falling out if the folder is turned upside down. I really do like that you can see each outfit to decide what you want to use. Now the other binder pouches have a zipper on them so you would not have to worry about the clothes falling out but there is possibility of them getting bunched up on one side of the bag.
Like I said previously I do not think I could use this for all of my clothes with 8 bins of clothes that would take a lot of pouches. If you do not have a lot this is probably the perfect thing for you. I do like the binder pouched compared to the folder with plastic sleeves. I may keep this for my new clothes that I pick up from now, we will have to see. It is all about making it easier to maintain my collection.

Makeover Time-Barbie Fashionista-#54 Petite-Tutu Cute

Hello doll lovers!! I did more doll makeovers this week!! Wow! Two weeks in a row, it is a record for sure. Today I worked on the barbie fashionista #54 with light purple hair. I got her in a lot of dolls off of ebay and they were pretty dirty but that is half the fun making them pretty again.
As always I started off by washing her body with dish soap, baking soda and a toothbrush. Then I washed her hair with dish soap, conditioned it, let that set for 10 min. Then I combed through it and let her air dry (I should have boil washed her cause of the indent from the hair tie that was in her hair, I regret that and will do that before she is displayed).
I got lucky and she was still wearing her original outfit, shoes and necklace. I was super happy about that because I really like my fashionistas (well any doll really) to have their original outfit and shoes if it is possible. Of course when buy used dolls you run the risk of them not having the right clothes (or clothes at all).

Ebay Finds... Ever After Doll Haul-Raven Queen-Teen Evil Queen-Briar Beauty-Blondie Locks-Apple White-Extra Accessories

Hello doll lovers!! This is a haul of items I ordered off of ebay and put together for this post. I got two lots of dolls one came with accessories (like clothes, shoes and a few hands). Each doll came out to be around $7 a piece which is a good deal since most of them are almost complete with outfits, shoes and accessories. Then the extra accessories comes out to around $16 which is also a good deal for those items too. I was excited to find all of these dolls complete or almost complete (atleast they had clothes and shoes).
In the first lot I received raven queen chapter one (she has her shirt dress and shoes but was in maddy's outfit), and getting fairest raven queen (she is complete). Then in that lot I also got chapter one briar beauty (she is also complete, even has her ring!) and teen evil queen (she only has her outfit, shoes and shoulder piece but atleast she has those peices). In the second lot I received legacy day raven queen (she is missing her head piece and shoulder piece), blondie locks (she is complete just missing her ring) and apple white (she is not pictured, she is the one I did a makeover on immediatly when I got her cause she had gluey hair and a powder issue).

Makeover Time.... Ever After High-Heartstruck Cupid-In Chapter One Cupid's Outfit and Shoes

Hello doll lovers!! I was so excited to clean this girl up, I got her at salvation army earlier this year for .29! Of course she did have to left hands so I dug through my small bag of extra hands and luckily I found one that matched her skin tone. I thought she was original cupid and I had her outfit and shoes but turns out she is hearstruck cupid but she will be chapter one till I get her clothes or I get a chapter one cupid doll.
First I cleaned her body with dish soap, baking soda and a tooth brush. Then I put conditioner in her hair and let it set for 10 min, combed through it and let it air dry, she had beautiful curls after her condition so I did not boil wash cause it would have taken the curl right out. Before I set her out to air dry I put her bangs around a straw to get them to curl so they wouldn't be in her eyes. I also tried to recreate her heartstruck hair style but it is a little messy but I like it.  I washed her dress and shoes then got her dressed. Like all the other dolls she looked so nice after her makeover.

Thrift Find-Rummage Sale-Barbie Collectors-Audrey Hepburn Roman Holiday

Hello doll lovers!! Wanted to share this amazing find that I got at a rummage sale a while ago. She was only $5 but her box was trashed so I got to take her out without feeling guilty. She is so pretty, I don't think she looks like Audrey Hepburn but she has a nice face, I love her outfit and shoes! Oh, might want to tell you, she is a barbie collector doll, she is the Roman Holiday Audrey Hepburn.

Makeover Time... Barbie-Model Muse Body-Belk 125th Anniversary

Hello doll lovers!! Let me tell you this girl was so hard to identify, it took my days to finally find out she is the 125th anniversary Belk doll. She has the model muse body (that I love) and a beautiful face, she still had her silver earrings which helped in identifying her finally. Wish she had her original dress but when you buy them used it is hard to find that. I got this girl in a lot of dolls from the goodwill she was maybe .75.
I started off by washing her body with dish soap, baking soda and a tooth brush. Then I conditioned her hair let it set for 10 min, then combed through it. She wasn't too bad to clean her hair was nice and her body has a few marks I could not remove. I found her that pink dress to match her lips and the pink shoes to match. I may change her outfit at some point but for now this is cute and she looks pretty.
