.29 Salvation Army Finds... Jem and Peaches N' Cream Barbie

     Hello doll lovers!! The same day I picked up the lot of dolls in the previous post I picked these girls up too. I decided they needed their own post because these girls are near and dear to my heart because if you are child of the 80s you know about these girls. I grew up with these dolls and can not say no when I see them for a reasonable price and come on .29 is very reasonable!
     This is an original Jem doll in a crystal barbie dress (I love this dress) and I believe that the barbie is peaches n' cream it is hard to tell because she is not wearing any of her jewelry or her outfit, but her makeup looks to be correct. I have a peaches n' cream dress but it is not in very good condition, guess it will have to do till we find a better one. Her face paint is very vibrant she still has her peach blush, her head is a little wobbly and falls to the back maybe that can be fixed. Jem is in good condition just in need of a good spa day, as of now her earrings do not work but she may just need new batteries (which are watch batteries so I do not have them laying around my house).  I feel bad for Jem cause she does not have an outfit for now but who knows maybe we will find her some in the near future.
     I absolutely loved the big dress dolls of the early/mid 80s they were my favorite. I was only 4 or 5 but they were so beautiful to me. By big dress dolls I mean peaches n' cream, dream glow, loving you and of course crystal barbie. All of these girls had stoles (except loving you barbie) and they were so  pretty. I wasn't lucky enough to have these dolls when I was younger (my mom probably thought they were to nice to give to a small child (even though she gave me her bubble cut barbie which I destroyed but I digress) of course these dolls were around $20 at the time so if you purchased that doll today it would be almost $50. I can see why my mom said no.

Rainbow Unicorn Surprise... How many babies did she have???

     Hello doll lovers!! Today I wanted to share my rainbow unicorn surprise I found at the goodwill (this is a post I wrote back in feb but never posted it but thought why now post it now!). She was in very good condition, not even played with I think. She was only 1.29 so of course I bought her to see how many babies she had. This is a line of toys there are dogs, cats, ponies and you name it, the novelty is they can have 3-5 babies and of course you want to get 5. My girl did indeed come with 5! I was super excited, so was my 6 year old non verbal boy he loves horses and he loved the little ponies. She had 4 girls and 1 boy (he is the white one not sure if he is rare or what cause I bought her used). I always buy toys like this at goodwill for the novelty of it. She will go in the consignment sale to bring some little girl a lot of joy with her 5 babies!

It's A Doll Haul Y'all!!! Barbie-Bratz-Ever After High

     Hello doll lovers!! It has been a while since I could post on this blog. This covid-19 is no joke, we have been under a stay at home order for almost a month now. They say it will not be lifted till June 10th but we will have to wait and see. I am a stay at home mom so I have been lucky to not have to worry about going in to work. I have only been going out once a week for grocery shopping trips and of course the local thrift stores have been closed.
     Or so I thought, someone told my our salvation army was still open, of course I really do not need to be going in there but I had some things to donate and really wanted to get out of my house. You know I am not going to go in there with out a look around. There was only 4 other people looking and I wore a mask and gloves the whole time. It felt so good to just walk around and look at everything, my boys was with their grandad and I had all the time to browse. As you can tell by the title I found some great doll deals. All these girls was only .29 a piece, that is why I love my salvation army!
      Goodwill is still closed but taking donations, when they do open back up I will give it a few weeks before I go in but I am excited and hoping for yard sales to start later in the summer. I do want to mention I am in a rural area that has not had a lot of cases so that is why I went thrifting. I would never have went if there were a lot of cases around me. You really do not know how much you take for granted until you can't go and do what you want.

     I picked up a ever after high cupid (she has 2 left hands though and no clothes), a my scene nolee (dress is not hers I think she may be shopping spree), bunny enchantimal (she has a monster high dress on), I believe the lady with the gold leggings is 2004 dolls of the world princess of cambodia (not 100% but she is the closest I could find to her looks), bratz genie magic chloe (her hair has been cut and she is not in her outfit) and lastly there is a yasmin (?) bratz (she has a genie magic outfit on and her plain feet). All of these girls need a good cleaning but for .29 they was a great deal!
