Doll Finds Friday-Barbie Extra-Madame Alexander-Na Na Na Surprise

     Hello doll lovers!! Today is everyones favorite day of the week, doll finds Friday!! As you can see I have been buying quite a few dolls from ebay lately and there have been some good sales with black friday coming up. I got the barbie extra 5 pack for $43 with the sale and rewards cash. Then I got the madame alexander little women beth doll to complete my 12 in doll set she was $13 with shipping from ebay. I got the na na na surprise teen boy parker for $5 off of amazon. Lastly I got the barbie extra #16 off walmart with rewards points and a sale for $12. 

Restoration Time-Madame Alexander-Little Women-Meg-Lissy Face

     Hello doll lovers!! It is time for another restoration blog, I finally got the whole set of madame alexander little women dolls in the 12 inch size. They weren't in the best of shape but I got a really good deal on them so I am fixing them up now. This is the meg doll she is a rarer version in a pink gingham dress (she usually wears purple). She has the lissy doll face so I believe she is an older version maybe late 50s early 60s. I love the lissy face so these are my favorite. I had to restring her as you can see and her clothes was really dirty so I washed them then did a denture tablet treatment and I am just going to tell you if you want your whites to be brighter use that treatment! I didn't mess with her hair too much it was in good shape but I washed her body. I think she turned out great and I am very happy with her results!

 

Doll Finds Friday-Madame Alexander-Cool Cuts Kara

     Hello doll lovers!!! I have been on a little buying spree recently, I have went to ebay and found some really good deals on madame alexander dolls soooo.......  I guess this is where my Christmas money has went...... The first pic is a madame alexander 1965 goldilocks doll I got her for $15. The second pic is a doll I had as a child and loved, her name is cool cuts kara I paid $20 for her. The next two are also madame alexander dolls they are heidi and alice from th 60s I paid $5 a piece for them (they was in  a lot with a few other dolls I am not keeping). Then the last pic is a lot of madame alexander 8 in dolls I really wanted the laurie to go with my girls and the two international girls are adorable they was $35 for all! 

 

Doll Restoration Time-Madame Alexander-Little Women-Beth-Alexanderkins

     Hello doll lovers!! I recently set my sights on the madame alexander little women set of dolls. So I went to ebay to find some good deals and that I did, of course that means they need to be restored but I love to do that. This is the 8 inch size beth doll, her apron was really yellowed and she was dirty. I hand washed her clothes in detergent and oxyclean then I put them in a soak of denture tablets (it works wonders to whiten the clothes). I washed her body down and tamed her hair a bit then I restrung her with cord (she was a little loose). I love how she turned out her apron is still a little yellow but it looks so much better than when I started! All the other girls were in very good shape so they were just restrung since they still had their rubberbands and a couple had actually fallen apart. 

 

Doll Finds Friday-80's Ladies and 60's Madames......

     Hello doll lovers!! I have a very eclectic mix this week I went on a shopping trip with my mom and found the two 80s ladies then ordered the 60's madames off of ebay. The hot looks Elkie doll was 3.99 at goodwill and the rose petal place rose doll was 9.99 (I thought she was 50% off but I guess not) at an antique mall. I got all of the madame alexander dolls for around $70 I know that sounds like a lot but for 9 dolls that really is a good deal. Most of these dolls are at least $10-$15 a piece with shipping so paying around $8 each is a good deal! 

 

Doll Finds Friday-Lol Omg Miss Glam-Vintage Ideal Baby Mine (Boopsie)-Barbie Fashionista

     Hello doll lovers!! Got a few goodies this week but things are slowing down, in my area yard sales are not happening anymore and it will 6 months before we see them again but these items came from thrift stores so maybe I will have some luck this winter...... First I found an lol omg miss glam complete for only .99 at goodwill!! Then I got the last vintage doll from salvation army (unless they get more in) this is the ideal baby mine also known as boopsie she was 9.99. Lastly I got the barbie fashionista off amazon for only $5, what a deal!
