Mega Bratz Doll Find At Yard Sale

     Hello doll lovers!! My lady may have gone up on her prices for in box dolls but she still has her doll bags for $1 a piece! I'm sure that will change at some point too but for now I will grab them up. There was 8 bags so I ended up with 16 bratz dolls for $8! I did have to throw one away her hair was cut badly and she looked to be really molded. I would have cleaned her up if her hair wasn't so bad. 

     The only problem was that most of them had on barbie clothes and bratz clothes are harder to find but I am sure I can come up with something for the price I paid. I do believe I got some really pretty and rarer dolls but some does have hair cuts and marks on their body, I will get them cleaned up and ready to go soon! 

 

Bratzillaz Switch A Witch 2 Pack-Complete-Yard Sale Find

     Hello doll lovers!! Went to a few yard sales over the weekend and this is all I found but I was happy! My mom and I ventured to maybe 4 yard sales (that is about how many we find with covid going on now) and one of the first ones we went to had a box of monster high dolls. There was at least 20 if not more dolls in that box and...... From what I could tell they were complete (crying so hard right now) but I couldn't afford to buy them cause they would have been over a hundred dollars cause they were $5 a piece. I couldn't choose just one or two so I just have to be sad. 

     As I dug through the box I came across these girls in a bag together for $8, I knew bratzillaz are hard to find way harder than monster high so I got them. I found out that these are the switch a witch 2 pack (I think to compete with monster high create a monster) you could switch their bodies and clothes around to make your own witch. Of course for display purposes I put them on the correct bodies with correct limbs. I love the pink and blue curly wig. I was so happy to find out that they are complete, jewelry and everything. 

     It does make me sadder cause that means all of the monster high dolls was 100% complete. I did try to contact the people to see if they still had the dolls after the sale I thought they might do a deal for all of them but they never got back with me. Hopefully there wasn't any more bratzillaz in the box either, my best piece of advice is to ask about things at the sale if you are interested then you know for sure you tried your best cause now I am going to wonder.  I will get over it and hey at least I got two awesome bratzilla dolls!

 

2006 Fashion Fever Barbie In Box Yard Sale Find.....

     Hello doll lovers!! Went to my favorite ladies sale this week found a few good deals but she is getting a little more pricey on her items. I used to rack up on the deals at her table but she is asking higher prices now. Even so I still bought a few things including this 2006 fashion fever barbie for $5, now if you remember a month or so ago I got a kira in box from this same lady and she only charged me $3. 

     I will say the quality went down on these dolls because this one has a painted on top and the kira doll has all cloth clothing. Really sad when companies do that to save a few bucks. I mean they don't make the dolls any cheaper when they do that..... Even though she is a lower quality I will say this doll resells for quite a bit of money especially in the box so the $5 wasn't a bad deal I was just a little disappointed. 

 

Doll Finds For This Week-Barbie-Ever After High-Monster High-My Scene-Spice Girls

     Hello doll lovers!! This week all of my doll finds came from yard sales, the thrift stores have been doll bare for a couple of weeks now. I will be sad when the yard sale season ends cause then I will have to rely on thrift stores for my doll finds. 

     First off I found an ever after high daring charming doll (he does have his clothes and shoes but they are mostly painted on that is a bummer), a barbie, brandy (the singer) doll (lover her braids) and a posh spice doll (not in her outfit but does have jewelry and mic) for .50 a piece. Also picked up two my scene dolls of course they were nude but I love them any way I can find them, they were $1 a piece (the blonde is a one you can switch her head). Lastly is a monster high create a monster the creepy sea monster she was $5  a little pricey but I do not have a CAM in my collection so I was happy to find her! 

 

Amazing 80s Finds At Goodwill!!

     Hello vintage lovers!! Goodwill has been a hopping place this past few weeks! I have had some great finds for sure. This day was seeming to be a flop till I ventured over to the toy bin, where I found these guys. Since they were unmarked they only charged me .50 a piece. 

     I knew the ponies these ponies the moment I saw them. There is the original cotton candy (one of the first pony girls) and the other is lemon drop. Both are in good condition just a little dirty and sticky, so after a good bath they will be great, their hair is really nice too not frizzy. The other item is a hair bear, I thought it was just a generic toy but no they are a legit toy line. They were made to compete with care bears. I was so glad I got her cause I just had a feeling she was something and I was right! Glad I checked that bin but I always do cause you never know what you are going to find! 

 

Makeover Time... Barbie Fashionista-Scientist-Holiday

     Hello doll lovers!! Did a couple of makeovers last week, wanted to do more but just didn't have the time. I am hoping once my kids get into school I will get  alot more done with my day. Decided to clean these girls up since I got a really cute outfit recently for my curvy girl. Since these girls seemed easy to clean up I went with them and had really good results. 

     I already have this curvy girl in her original outfit but I got a really cute outfit at dollar tree so she will be modeling that. She was easy to clean except for her hair being sticky, I used the orange air freshener trick and it seemed to work. Then I worked on the scientist, I really like her cause she is different I put her in this dress for now but may change it later if I find something better. She was easy to clean just had to remove her glasses. Lastly is what I believe may have been a holiday doll, she had marks on her face and marker in her hair. those did not come out completely so I decided to sell her but I put her in this cure gymnist outfit and I love it! 

Out of the Box..... Barbie and Monster High

     Hello doll lovers!! Decided to take unbox my dolls that I recently picked up at yard sales the past few weeks. I was super excited to find that abby doll it is very hard to find monster high especially in the box. Fun fact, all of these dolls came from the same seller just on different days! In this post is monster high music festival abby bominalbe, 1993 chinese barbie and 1994 dance moves barbie. 

 

Dollar Tree Doll Face Off-What Has Changed In 10 Years to the Quality of Dollar Tree Dolls??

     Hello doll lovers!! Today is a bit of a different blog I found an older dollar tree doll at the goodwill recently and it made me think how much the quality in dolls has changed, so I decided to get a doll from there and compare the two. To start off I want to say that I do not know for sure that this doll is from 2010 but in my research I did find a post with a similar dollar tree doll that was from 2011 so that is close enough for me. 

     Lets's start the comparison, first off the box has gotten smaller and there is no box art at all. The older dolls' box is mad a lot nicer too with the big plastic window and she actually has a name, not just fashion doll. Moving on from the box we see that the clothes are a lot different too, the older doll while her dress in not the best quality it is a lot nicer than the paper dress on the new doll. They both came with shoes but the older doll came with a stand.... That's right a dollar tree (everything is a dollar) doll came with a stand. Wow.   

     Now let's get into the bodies, the older dolls body is heavier than the new but she does not move like the new one (of course that maybe from age, this girl has been around for 10 years and I do not know how she was stored). Now we are going to go to the face..... As you can see the faces are vastly different and the hair is too. The poor new doll I can not believe what they did to her face, the older doll has a very pretty face. The hair on the new doll is also a disappointment, it is plastic and not soft at all. The old doll has nice soft hair the rooting isn't the greatest but neither is the new doll. 

     In conclusion, I can not believe how much the quality of the dollar tree dolls has went down. While the older doll isn't the best quality I would say she has the quality of a $5 at the dollar general now a days. Which says a lot since she was bought for $1 10 years ago. The dolls in store now are absolutely only worth the dollar you spend (if that). I feel bad talking so badly about the newer doll but come on just look at her. I hope you enjoyed the comparison post and was just as surprised as I was about the change. 

 

Vintage Barbie Clothes Found In Goodwill!!

     Hello doll lovers!! Ran into goodwill today and happened upon this bag of vintage barbie doll clothes. Some are marked barbie, some look professional made but not tagged and some are handmade. I was excited to find vintage clothes cause I do not have a lot for my older girls when I find them. Plus the bag was only 1.59! What a deal! Was hoping to find the vintage dolls that went with the clothes but of course no luck with that. I went back a couple days later and found nothing but I can't get this lucky every trip.... 

 

Doll Finds For This Week-Monster High-Barbie-Lalaloopsey-Clothes

     Hello doll lovers!! This is my doll finds for the week and it was a pretty good week. I found a bag of vintage doll clothes at goodwill for 1.59, a in box monster high doll for $4, lalaloopsey baby for .50 at goodwill and a bag of barbies for $1 at a yard sale. A boxed doll (which I am doing another post on) for $2 and a lalaloopsey girl doll for .50 both found at goodwill. I also found some barbie clothes and shoes at dollar tree for of course $1 a piece. 

 

Spotlight on my Collection-Disney Dolls-Esmerelda and Pocohontas

     Hello doll lovers!! Yes, it is time for another spotlight on my collection, this time is disney dolls. I do not have a lot of disney dolls I tend to resale them but these girls got my attention so they are staying for now. I got Esmerelda from goodwill a long time ago for .99, I actually made her over but that was before my blog so I do not have a post about that. Pocahontas was bought new in box at a yard sale recently for $5 I do have a post on her, poor girl is bow legged from being in her box for so long. 

 

Fashion Fever Kira Flea Market Find!!

     Hello doll lovers!! Went to a flea market last week and found this amazing girl for only $3!! I could not believe it, obviously the person didn't know what they had. I was super excited it was a Kira I do love them. She is selling for around $50 in the box so I got an awesome deal! Of course I haven't decided if I want to sell her or not so she is staying in her box for now.

      Hello doll lovers!! Doing another spotlight on my collection post for you today! This is a spotlight on my barbie fashionista tall girls. I got all of these from walmart on clearance for $2 a piece at different times. As you can see I let the sales pick my collection but I am not dissapointed at all cause these girls are so pretty and different! 

     From left to right, we have #33 fab fringe, #55 denim and dazzle and #69 blue beauty. I had no idea they had names and numbers. Is it like that with new fashionistas too??

 

Doll Haul For This Past Week Of Thrifting-Barbie-Lady Lovely Locks-Rose Petal Place

     Hello doll lovers!! This is my doll haul for this week of thrifting post! Got the two new in box dolls at a yard sale for $4 a piece. The two out of box dolls was .50 a piece and the 80s ladies at the bottom (maiden fair hair from lady lovely locks and rose petal place daffodil) was in a bag with a bunch of stuff for $1! I got the second and third pic dolls at a flea market, I am super excited to get the 80s ladies cleaned up! 

 

Spotlight On My Collection.... Monster High Skull Shores Lagoona and Abby

     Hello doll lovers!! Another monster high spotlight can you be kidding?? No no you will find out I have a thing for monster high dolls. I actually got these girls a few years ago in box (cause I was going to sell them.... sure) at a yard sale for only $3 a piece! These are the skull shores line lagoona and abby. I have all of their accessories and stand too. These girls are so pretty and I am glad I got them all those years ago.
