Hello doll lovers!! Did a few makeovers this week and of course you know I had to share. This is the doll I got in the lot off of etsy that I mentioned in my doll finds friday. She is an uneeda tiny teen bride doll, I thought she was a suzette (because of the face) but learned through research that she is the tiny teen doll cause she has the jointed waist, suzette does not. Just so happens that in her lot of items she came with she came with her original dress (and possibly her shes but I gave those to miss revlon and gave her pink ones, you can't see her feet anyways). She is from 1957 and came in different outfits.
She does have some issues like her hair is sparce and her one arm is way darker than her body but with her dress on you really can't tell. Her dress also has some issues too like a few rips and it is yellowed a bit but I still think she turned out really pretty. I cleaned her with with a dry cloth to remove the dust then used a mixer of white vinegar and baking soda to make a paste, I got her damp and used to a toothbrush to scrub, being careful of her paint. I rinsed her off and washed her hair with soap and put some conditioner in it. after I got her a little bit dry I put a curler in her bangs to make that curl and cover her missing hair plugs. Since she didn't have a lot of hair I just put it in a small bun I don't have her veil so she is just in her dress. I put a pair of hose on her and some pink heels. I think she looks so pretty her face paint is so vibrant now and she will display so great!
