1957-1962 Effanbee Most Happy Family Doll Set

Hello doll lovers!! Today I am sharing my recent find of this set of vintage effanbee most happy family dolls. These dolls was made from 1957-1962. I found these gems at my local salvation army store a few weeks ago. The mom was 19.99, the boy and girl was 3.99 and the baby was 3.99. I will say that at the time I did not realize that the baby is not the baby from the set it is a babykin I believe but is an effanbee doll and looks like the baby that comes in the set but is a bit bigger. I was sad when I found this out but that is ok it will still display nicely!
As for the mom she is complete, she has her hat, earrings, dress, shoes, hose and most importantly her effanbee heart charm and her diamond ring and wedding band! That is amazing all that stayed with her all these years. The boy doll (which is a mickey mold) has his outfit, socks and shoes as well. The little girl (which is a fluffy mold) has her dress hat (with flowers that match mom's hat) shoes and socks too! All in all I do believe this set is almost complete (minus baby, sad face cause the baby to the set was there but I did not realize since it was not marked effanbee but this baby was, an honest mistake) and this is a rarer set. This is the blue sating set that you do not find often. There was several sets made (red, gold and tweed blue) but this one is the rarest. I am so happy to add them to my collection and maybe one day I will find the actual baby until then my babykin will stand in.
