Hello doll lovers!! Thought I would try another method of doll clothes orgainization so I can let you know if it works or if it is a dud. With this method I am going to try to use binder pouched and a folder with plastic sleeves in it to put the clothes in so you can see the outfits and flip through like a book. I have seen a few people use this method and it looks nice but when you have as much clothes as I do, will it really work?
I got this idea because I found 4 binder pouches for .20 a piece at good will (I have an extra binder at my house) and a folder that has 5 plastic pockets in it already for 1.29. I figured since the items was so cheap I would try it out. As you have seen I got a lot of sparkle girl outfits and dollar tree outfits this past couple of weeks. So I figured might as well start with those.
Instead of starting with the binder pouches I used the already set up folder. I put about 5 outfits in each plastic sleeve and I will say that it was easier to see the outfits and you could turn the pages. But I can see them getting messed up and falling out if the folder is turned upside down. I really do like that you can see each outfit to decide what you want to use. Now the other binder pouches have a zipper on them so you would not have to worry about the clothes falling out but there is possibility of them getting bunched up on one side of the bag.
Like I said previously I do not think I could use this for all of my clothes with 8 bins of clothes that would take a lot of pouches. If you do not have a lot this is probably the perfect thing for you. I do like the binder pouched compared to the folder with plastic sleeves. I may keep this for my new clothes that I pick up from now, we will have to see. It is all about making it easier to maintain my collection.
